Environmental policy

It is ApodanNordic's environmental policy to reduce consumption of resources associated with daily activities and to continually undertake environmental surveys and ongoing environmental improvements.
 
Apodan Nordic's environmental policy is based on relevant environmental legislation and international environmental standards. The company has defined the following areas of operations as major environmental factors:

  • Waste disposal
  • Consumption of resources
  • Emissions caused by processes
  • Limiting storage of chemicals, chemical supplies etc.

At ApodanNordic we continuously undertake initiatives so that the company reduces its pollution. Therefore the company will continue to work to reduce consumption and / or explore alternative options, where possible within the company's financial framework..
 
In connection with the annual business planning an evaluation of each item takes place to ensure that the objectives are complied with and/or, corrective actions have been put in place.
 
By doing this, the company recognises the need to preserve and protect natural and social resources.
 
Requirements are set for each employee's knowledge about their own impact on the company's environmental factors.
In addition, there are requirements for craftsmen and external consultants working on the company premises on their knowledge of their own impact on the company's environmental factors.
 
Health and safety policy
At Apodan Nordic, we are committed to preventing and reducing harmful working process impact on the working environment and protecting every employee against work-related injuries and illness. This applies to physical and mental injuries and illness.
 
To comply with this obligation, the the relevant statutory requirements are taken as a starting point and any industry-related requirements / regulations which the company voluntarily assumes through membership of professional organisations / associations.
